Driving Lessons

Delivering premium quality driver training to our community since 1952. We strive to educate new drivers by promoting safe, courteous, defensive and alcohol/drug-free driving.

Lesson Overview

Before your loved ones get on the road, trust Gigliotti’s to teach them the rules of the road and how to drive safely. This year alone there will be over 3 million new teenage drivers on the road. This is often their first experience with real world responsibility. Driving is a complex world of social interaction and legal structure mixed with the laws of physics. This along with the need to make rapid and correct decisions makes success on the road a difficult activity for anyone. More than likely you have friends, relatives, or family members who were trained by Gigliotti's. Our goal is to educate drivers with the knowledge to be confident, aware, and defensive.  We place value on lifelong driver safety.

Our teaching techniques are one of a kind. We instill defensive driving strategies by teaching constant awareness of the drivers surroundings so they can react quickly and appropriately. We teach our students to be aware that their emotions play a big part in everyday driving and how this may affect their driving behavior. We make parallel parking and three point turns simple.

A Road Test can be a challenging event. We try to make it less stressful by scheduling the road test for our students and accompanying them on the day of the test. Our success rate has been high, and the students are always proud of their driving accomplishments.

    Practice, Practice, Practice

Most new drivers who fail their road test were not adequately prepared. Professional driving instruction is recommended as well as a meticulous review of the Drivers Manual. If you are under the age of 18 and have a Class DJ or Class MJ permit, make sure you read about supervised practice driving hours required by law that must be certified by your parent or guardian.

I cannot emphasize enough the importance Gigliotti’s Driving school had in me passing the driving test. My instructor (Mr. Gigliotti) was very professional, always on time and he gave me lots of confidence which made me feel assured in taking my driving test. The extended knowledge and experienced advice that he shared with me did not only serve me good during the test but will stay will me every time I am behind the wheel. This is the only driving school that I will recommend.

Bernie and his son were both incredible instructors. They were honest, so very patient, thorough, and gave advice only experienced instructors could give. They are wonderful at figuring out your trouble points, and will help you resolve them. They are experts through and through. Would recommend to everyone.
